Are there any recommendations? Since I have an 07, the only aftermarket suppliers are Eibach, FRPP, and H&R. I am leaning more towards the H&R cause they are stiffer than the Eibach ones.

You can get the sleeve kit from www.massivespeedsystem.com

Steeda also makes a set for the 06-07.

What exactly are you planning on doing with your car George? Stiffer springs make for a harsh ride on the streets...so take that into consideration.

My car sucks when I've got my suspension cranked as stiff as it will go. Especially with 17 inch wheels...

Stiffer springs are great for that sporty ride, but like Dave said, it sucks on the streets. If all you're planning to do is in town and highway driving, then find a set of springs that has a moderate rating. Too soft and you'll bottom out easily. Not sure which H&R you are considering, but typically their Race springs offer a deeper drop and an increased spring rate. Their Sport springs are a better compromise, since they lower the car and offer a slightly stiffer ride, but nothing compared to the Race setup. Another thing to consider is what type of shocks/struts you plan to run. Do you want non-adjustable or adjustable? Whatever you do, do not go out and purchase aftermarket springs and mount them to your stock components. The higher rates and lower height will destroy stock shocks/struts. The other thing many are misconceieved by is that they think shocks/struts like Konis are a great pairing to the aftermarket setups. I had a set of Koni yellows mounted to some Progress springs. I found that this setup offered a great balance between my street driving and autoX, but technically, Konis aren't designed for shorter springs. Eventually, they will get destroyed. What you want to look for is a set of shortened shocks/struts.

Currently I have the FRPP 1.5" setup, and they are pretty soft and i wanted to go with the H&R sports. Would their be any problem with the FRPP shocks which are basically ST shocks. The 06-07 H&R ones are 1.4f and 1.3r.

Do you remember if the factory springs were the same size as the FRPPs? The H&R spings will be shorter than stock which is you will really want to consider a set of shortened shocks/struts. Depending on the valving of the FRPP shocks/struts, you might be okay for while but you may want to still consider a shorter setup.

The FRPP is a 1.5" drop overall which is lower than the H&R but is a lil bit stiffer than stock.

George, I think you need to drive my car once and make sure that a stiffer spring is exactly what you want.

I believe that the H&R's are quite a bit more stiff than mine. I can't find the spring rates on them because H&R won't release that info.

I would think the spring rates on the H&Rs wouldn't be that much different than the ones for the 00-04 Focus. From what I've seen, H&Rs tend to be a bit more stiffer than most aftermarket springs. That goes for the Sport and Race setups. Take a ride in Dave's car and see what you think. If it were me though, I'd go with the Sport springs.

BTW, if anybody is interested in an H&R Cup Kit for the 00-04 Focus, I have some inside information from a reputable source pertaining to the sale of a used kit. Coupled with both H&R sways, the cup kit can be a great outfit for a sweet ride.

Details will be posted soon though!

I do a lot of highway driving so i dont mind if I get stiffer springs. My ride right now is really soft now since I took off the Enkeis and BFGs, thats right i'm rocking Dark Argent SVTs Euros and Yokahomas. They look way better than the Enkeis. Didnt realize how stiff the BFGs were till I switched to the Yokos. The H&R sports are actually gonna raise my height to .1 of an inch so would there still be a problem riding on the FRPP dampers. Couldn't find any info cause nobody has tried it. Thing is if I need better dampers then I might as well go with the Massive Speed Omni Kit and retro fit the suspension.

Try it out. If the dampeners blow...then they blow. KYB AGX's are a great dampener though.

Think I might just save up for KYBs and H&Rs, rather not worry about blowing them.
