anyone know if any local FORD dealers taking orders for the rs-focus??? yet

It is only in Europe. I do not even think there are even plans for a 2010 model yet either that has been said to the public. Most likely they will keep the current model and just make some updates but it would be great if they brought the C1 platform here next year.

Actually it may be 2011 for the C1 platform.

I bought my first SVTF in 2002, when they came out. I got mine for under invoice.

I heard of dealers trying to mark them up, and I'm sure some dumbasses probably took the bait, but I don't think it was so widespread.

SVT and RS have come under the same roof now, so you will definitely see sharing going on. Since the next Focus will be the same as it is in Europe, I'd say having an RS come stateside is pretty probable, but it will likely be badged as an SVT, not an RS.

Ford already has new RS' over here for testing and such, autoblog is supposedly going to get to drive it in the spring.

Also, when it comes to competing with the Mustang, Ford now sells a Fusion sport with 263 HP, which is more than the V6 Mustang, and yes, it's going to be faster than the V6, how's that for competing? Especially when you consider that right now Ford IS testing a possible new SHO, I'd say that's old thinking now.

I want to have you take a look at the MS6, maybe give me an estimate at what it will cost to fix all the damn dings, lol....
